In January, Ft. Madison High School hosted a Transition Resource Event for students, parents, and educators to learn more about resources that are offered for individuals with disabilities. Speakers briefly presented information about their services, with time for questions from the audience. Topics included social security disability, guardianship, employment supports, transition planning while in high school, and work-based learning opportunities.
Refreshments were provided by students who receive special education services – thanks, students!
