Great Prairie AEA hosted the annual Legislative Retreat for local district Superintendents and AEA Administrators in Des Moines last week. Many of our district Superintendents had the opportunity to visit with area Legislators on Wednesday, February 6th at the Capitol, sharing their concerns and general insights regarding Allowable Growth, Education Reform, College/Career-Ready Seals, and many other education issues, as well as sharing their support for the AEAs. Ten of our 17 area Legislators stopped by the Legislative Dining Room to talk with and listen to our Superintendents and Dr. Sheldahl. Those Legislators included:
